| VCA School of Film and Television graduate, South Yarra's Tim Bain, at a test run of his 15-minute short Artic Adventure on Monday. The cartoon - "about a rebellion in an artic zoo led by a bunch of resurgent penguins" - features voice-overs from Eric Bana, Kim Gyngell and Sigrid Thornton, big names the 22-year-old secured through sheer persistence. "I rang agents and schmoozed," says Bain, one of the 46 graduates screening at St. Kilda's George Cinemas until December 17. "Eventually they said 'yes, goodness, stop calling, they'll do it'!".
